Butterflies are on the wing

24 April 2018

Orange Tip

Now that the weather has warmed up (a little) there are beginning to be more butterflies around. Peacock and Comma have been seen in the valley for some months but now there are others including Red Admiral (above), Orange Tip and Speckled Wood. Lets hope this is a good year for butterflies and moths.

Speckled Wood

Footpaths - 14 October

All paths are walkable although some are a bit overgrown and there are a few muddy patches.

Report overgrown rights of way to East Sussex and other paths to the Friends of Combe Valley.
