Blue-green algae is causing problems at Crowhurst Lake, the flood attenuation pool north of the Link Road. The 1066 path runs alongside it. This algae is common in very hot weather and causes very serious problems for wildlife, pets and humans. It may be present in other water around the valley.
Please keep dogs and children away from this lake and other water within the valley, and if affected seek medical or veterinary help immediately.
